How to test on Rinkeby

Want to test our Contracts dApp on Rinkeby without spending gas?

  • Make two LE7EL accounts - one operating as Payer and the other as Payee. We recommend testing with a friend. Request an invite code in our Discord if you don't have already.

  • Make sure you have test-ETH (used to pay for gas) and test-DAI (used to fund escrow) on your wallets. You can mint these assets directly in our interface in the "Status & Actions" modal.

  • Make sure you are on the Rinkeby network.

  • Create a new contract by opening our Messenger app and select the specific user you want to contractualize with; click on the app icon next to the chat input field, then click the "Wallet" icon and "New contract"

  • After you've published the contract, use "Status & Actions" in the menu to get an interactive overview over the state of the contract plus available and suggested actions.

Please note that the dApp is not ready to be used on mobile at this stage.
